Summary
Emma peeks into Wolverine's mind to find some unpleasant things. He's having problems with his healing factor. She and Scott had plans to dine in the city but must stay in case something else happens to Wolverine. In the meantime, Scott paints Emma's toenails while she complains about missing the reservations and the dress she was going to wear to their outing. She thinks Scott's apology for the night should be applied northerly of her (he's still painting her toenails), but he goes into a geometry rant and talks about how she is horizontal and is actually westerly of him.
They're interrupted when they find Wolverine has invaded the kitchen (in a very graphic scene) because he is hungry. Having been interrupted in short notice, Emma is running around topless, and Scott asks her to put some clothes on, but she insists seeing another person naked is a bonding process. Beast tells her some uncomfortable things the original 5 had to deal with.
Emma thinks Warren's wings must have been a challenge in the shower. Later, when she's in bed with Scott, she teases about Warren's big wings. "Not funny," he replies.
The night seems to be a success. Emma's clothes and heels are sprawled on the bed, while she looks sleepy and satisfied, and Scott is sleeping beside her. But Dazzler comes knocking on their door. Emma tells Scott to kill whoever it is, but he tells her to kill the person herself. She could just psychically tell the person to kill Scott, she replies. Dazzler basically informs them Wolverine ran off to possibly do something stupid.
