Angel Salvadore

Emma and Angel first interacted in New X-Men #123. The young mutant did not like the institute and, especially, Emma Frost and the Stepford Cuckoos, but Emma took on the student as a challenge, even though she threatened she'll cut off Emma's hand if she ever became her student.

Although Angel had differences with Emma and the Cuckoos, she ended up helping them defeat Cassandra Nova together.

In an attempt to mold Angel into a more sophisticated being, Emma took her on a shopping spree, while Angel tried telling her she was pregnant.

Later, Angel was accused of murdering Emma Frost, whose diamond form shattered by a diamond bullet, but in actuality, Esme mind-controlled Angel to kill Emma.
